Shipping Methods Presented at Checkout

Currently we offer three methods of shipping; Store Collection, Local Delivery & Royal Mail (or Courier)

The shipping methods presented at check out will be based on:

  • individual item type
  • individual item size
  • total weight of all items in the order
  • total value of all items in the order

How Shipping is Calculated

The cost of shipping applied to your order will be calculated based on the shipping method selected, total weight of all items, and the total value of the goods. You will be able to see a description and the cost of each shipping method presented to you so that you can make an informed choice. In summary the cost of shipping will be based on:

  • selected shipping method
  • location
  • total value of all items in the order
  • total weight of all items in the order

Flat Rate Shipping

We currently have a flat rate for shipping dependent on location. Regardless of the number of items purchased.

  • UK Addresses – £2.99 (Free for orders over £75)
  • Europe Zone 1 – £5.25
  • Europe Zone 2 – £5.45
  • Europe Zone 3 – £5.95
  • Rest of World – £6.95

Delayed / Lost / Misdirected Shipments

Delayed Shipments

You will be responsible for any additional costs caused by delay to delivery where:

  • no-one was in to receive or sign for the parcel
  • parcel was rejected at the address for delivery
  • parcel was successfully delivered to a neighbour or safe place
  • parcel was successfully delivered to a pick up point

You will not be responsible for any additional costs that arise due to delay prior to the shipping service attempting to deliver at the address for delivery.

For delayed guaranteed shipping methods you may be entitled to a full refund of the shipping cost depending on the reasons for delay. In these cases please contact us and not the shipping service.

Lost Shipments

It is our responsibility to ensure that shipments reach you safely, therefore you will not incur any additional costs should your order become lost during shipping.

Should your order become lost we will make arrangements for a replacement order to dispatch.

We will consider a shipment to be lost where:

  • shipment has not arrived within 14 days of the expected delivery date
  • the shipping service is unable to locate the shipment

Misdirected Shipments

It is our responsibility to ensure that shipments reach you safely, therefore you will not incur any additional costs should your order be misdirected during shipping providing that you gave us the correct address for delivery at checkout.

If you provided an incorrect address at checkout and your order has been returned to us then we will re-ship to the correct address. Whether you will need to pay the additional costs for re-shipping will be at our discretion.

If you provided an incorrect address at checkout and your order has not been returned to us we will make attempts for the order to be returned to us and re-shipped to you. There are no guarantees that we will be able to affect a successful return of your order. In the event we cannot affect a return of the order it will be completely at our discretion as to what action to take.

UK Shipping Methods

Free Local Delivery – Sudbury & Great Cornard Over £50

We offer free delivery to all addresses in Sudbury & Great Cornard, Suffolk, UK assuming the order is over £50. Delivery times/day will vary and we will contact you to arrange a suitable day for delivery. On most occasions we will be able to deliver the next day. If you live in a nearby surrounding village to Sudbury; please contact us first as we may be able to deliver on some days of the week.

Free Shipping for Order Over £75- UK Only

UK customers placing orders of £75 or more will qualify for free shipping. Please note that there are a small number of items that are excluded from free shipping due to being bulky items, this will be indicated on the product page.

We will select the most suitable method of shipping based on the size and total weight of the packaged order, we will typically use either:

  • Royal Mail UK Standard 2nd Class
  • Royal Mail UK Tracked 48

The exact shipping method used will be at our digression and whatever method we choose we will cover all shipping costs.

We withhold the right to split orders into multiple shipments where this provides better value without compromising speed and safety of delivery to yourself.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail offer a range of services that aim to deliver within different time frames, with or without tracking, and with or without signature upon delivery. Further details of the services we use are below.

We have a flat rate shipping cost for orders under £75, and normally use Royal Mail 2nd Class; however, depending on the size, value and delivery location for the item(s) we way use our discretion to ship via one of the other Royal mail methods listed below. Flat Rate (below £75) is currently £2.99.

For all services, Royal Mail may be unable to deliver an item because no-one is home and it’s too big to fit through the letter box or requires a signature. In these instances they should leave a ‘Something for you card’ to let you know where your item is. If possible they will leave parcels with a neighbour, but if not they’ll return it to your local Customer Service Point or Delivery Office.

You can request redelivery of missed items online at royalmail.com/redelivery. You could also collect your item in person and you will need your ‘Something for you card’ and proof of ID.

Royal Mail will only hold items at a local Customer Service Point or Delivery Office for 18 days after which they will return the item to us.

Royal Mail Standard 1st Class

  • aims to deliver within 1 working day of dispatch

Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class

  • aims to deliver within 2-3 working days of dispatch

Royal Mail Tracked 24

  • aims to deliver within 1 working day of dispatch
  • full online tracking
  • option to deliver to a safe place

Royal Mail Tracked 48

  • aims to deliver within 2-3 working days of dispatch
  • full online tracking
  • option to deliver to a safe place

Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm

  • guaranteed delivery by 1pm next working day
  • money back guarantee if your item doesn’t arrive on time
  • end to end tracking and signature on delivery online or via your mobile
  • guaranteed Saturday delivery for an additional fee

Courier (Evri)

Depending on the total size and weight of your order it may need to be sent via a courier service.

Typically a courier service will not deliver to a PO BOX address so when selecting courier as the shipping method you must provide a valid street address for delivery.

Courier Standard

  • aims to deliver in 2 – 3 working days Mon – Fri
  • fully tracked service
  • cannot deliver to PO Box

Europe (Zones 1, 2 & 3)

Our website will automatically generate a fixed postage cost for Zones 1, 2 and 3 in Europe based on the Royal Mail Zone system and will be shipped using either Royal Mail International standard, or International Tracked if that is more appropriate for your order. Please see the Royal Mail website for more information on postal zoning. Flat Rate is currently £5.25 for Zone 1, £5.45 for Zone 2 and £5.95 for Zone 3.

North America, Australia, Japan, China, and New Zealand

Our website Automatically generates postal costs for these locations If you would like to make an order to be shipped to Europe, North America, Australia or New Zealand and will be shipped using either Royal Mail International standard, or International Tracked if that is more appropriate for your order. Flat Rate is currently £6.95 for these locations.

Rest of the World

We are looking into shipping to other parts of the World, some may be covered by our store system, but if your country is not listed on the shipping page – please contact us and we will facilitate. We are adding more locations gradually. so please check back to see if we are able to ship to your part of the World. We do aim to facilitate all shipping options to these locations via the website in the future.

Spray Cans (Aerosols)

We are unable to ship Aerosols via any courier to any location due to prohibited item restrictions. We do however deliver them via our Free Local Delivery Option (See UK Shipping Options above).
